Burning metal project is an experimental project which applies the color change reaction with burning metal to a product.
The titanium alloy is used to create products with a beautiful iridescent color by manipulating the level of the natural titanium oxides on the surface. There are no added colors, only the utilization of natural titanium oxides, the bright, vibrant colors from the titanium anodizing treatment last indefinitely, resisting discoloration and fading over time.

The Graffito is a process using a tool that applies digital technique to create titanium’s color change reaction to create a pattern. HamanishiDESIGN designed and manufactured digitally controlled machine that creates this type of pattern.
