Vibers is a bioplastic made from Elephant Grass making it biobased and biodegradable. This implies that it decomposes naturally and is made of organic materials. Elephant grass doesn’t need pesticides, fertilizers, or watering, and it can absorb four times more CO2 than trees. Because of this, it is a very sustainable crop that is grown in the Netherlands. The sheets are simple to manufacture, although bioplastic is not typically recommended for prolonged outdoor usage.
Plastics that are entirely or partially produced from renewable basic resources are known as bioplastics.
