Sea Stone recalls the appearance of concrete and the terrazzo charm. It is light as plastic but it is a totally natural, non-toxic and sustainable material. According to Newtab-22, seven million tons of seashells are discarded every year with the majority ending up in the landfill. Rather than wasting the by-product material, it is repurposed into sea stone. shells are not biodegradable and they contain over 90% of calcium carbonate (limestone). Limestone is used in construction and interiors, so why not take advantage of these scraps and transform them and give them a new life.
